Ableton PUSH Live FX Template
Turn your PUSH into a LIVE FX Machine!
Been working on this one for a while. It's a template you can add to any project and get 64 momentary performance FX for your production or live performance.
PUSH Will display the last selected FX for visual feedback so you'll know what effect you are using.
You can combine FX in all sorts of ways. There are four sections of FX:
Blue: Stutters, Glitch, Gaters, and Modulation FX
Green: Pitch FX, Reverb Delay & Tape.
Orange: Filtering
Red: Saturation & Distortion
Using all built-in effects except for these free Max for Live devices make sure you download and install:
- Pitchdrop - From the Max for Live Essentials Pack
- MidiHub
There is also a bonus Rack included which also gives us smart filters for the PUSH encoders for ultimate controllerism.
Installation
1. Download the Project file and open it in Ableton
2. On the top menu click File -> Save Live Set as Template
3. Next open up any project and drag the PUSH Live FX Trigger template to the project (Session or Arrangement).
4. Route all the tracks and groups you want to affect to the MASTER FX Track.
5. On the Master FX Track - Right-Click on Baduda's Filters and choose Lock to Control Surface (PUSH 2)
6. Arm the TRIGGER FX track with the PUSH and switch to 64 pads layout
7. Have Fun!
**You need Ableton Suite 11.0.6 or above
This is a massive rack with a lot of effects, nested racks and Max for Live devices you need a strong computer (I'm using Macbook Pro M1)
